Job summary

Koniag Technology Solutions, inc a Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support a Federal client on a remote basis. The role requires ability to obtain a Public Trust and contribute to modernization efforts across backend, frontend, and Salesforce components.

The selected candidate will write automated tests, ensure accessible UI per WCAG, and collaborate with an agile team while adhering to secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of software development experience with frontend and backend.
• Experience in agile teams with regular sprint deliverables.
• Experience writing unit tests and achieving high test coverage.
• Federal government software projects preferred; accessibility knowledge helpful.
• Salesforce development experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend APIs using Python, Ruby, or JavaScript on cloud.gov infra.
• Build frontend apps with JavaScript/TypeScript using React or Ember.js.
• Write and maintain automated tests with ≥90% coverage per sprint.
• Ensure zero linting errors and zero warnings per MDN standards.
• Implement accessibility meeting WCAG 2.1 Level A/AA.
• Contribute to Salesforce development components when needed.
• Participate in code reviews and secure coding per OWASP/US-CERT.
• Support integration with USDA mission systems via RESTful APIs.
• Maintain deployment scripts and configurations.
• Contribute to sprint docs, inline code docs, and system diagrams.
