Job summary

Epistemix is seeking an AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven applications that make modeling accessible to non-data scientists. You will own the software from requirements through deployment, delivering scalable agent-based models for decision makers.

We value collaboration, experimentation, and empathy for users. A 3+ year track record in AI/ML, LLMs, and API design is preferred. This is a fully remote role open to US applicants with legal work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent).
• 3+ years of experience developing AI/ML applications in production environments.
• Proven track record with LLMs, NLP models, or AI-driven systems.
• Experience designing and optimizing high-performance, scalable APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Craft clean, testable, and maintainable code for AI-generated agent-based models.
• Own software from requirements through deployment for decision-makers.
• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable system architectures for rapid model delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align with company strategy.
