Job summary

Cisco is seeking a senior platform software engineer to own the UI/UX for a new workload platform within the CTO Security team. This remote role welcomes candidates in the United States and Canada and focuses on building a platform-centric data center.

You will collaborate with internal teams like Isovalent and the AI Software & Platform group to enable seamless integration with customer networks and to leverage agentic AI for migration and automation.

Qualifications

• Degree with 10+ years or MS with 6+ years or PhD with 3+ years in platform software development.
• Experience with Linux and React for user interfaces.
• Experience with React Query or Zustand for state management.
• Familiarity with bundlers like Vite, Vite+ or Webpack.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of the UI/UX for our new workload platform.
• Collaborate with Isovalent to ensure seamless network coexistence with customers.
• Partner with AI Software & Platform teams to enable AI-assisted migration and automation.
