Job summary

ClickUp is seeking an Engineering Manager (Frontend) to lead a high-performance frontend team building scalable, collaborative editing features and AI-powered workspace experiences.

You will provide hands-on technical leadership, mentor engineers, drive architecture decisions, ensure code quality, and collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver reliable, fast experiences for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Hands-on leadership with mentoring and coaching capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership to the frontend team, guiding architecture and design.
• Lead, mentor, and grow engineers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Drive development of scalable frontend features and integrations with AI-powered workspace components.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to align goals and deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Oversee code reviews, enforce quality standards, and promote maintainable, testable code.
• Stay updated on collaborative editing tech, web development, and cloud infrastructure trends.
• Ensure stability and performance of the Docs platform by addressing technical debt and optimizing architecture.
