Job summary

Maania Digital is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join remotely with a Philadelphia-area/MD-based team. You will build frontend applications using React and TypeScript, integrate with backend services via FastAPI/Flask, and apply secure SDLC practices in a mission-critical environment.

Candidates should have 4+ years of software development experience, familiarity with CesiumJS for geospatial features, and CI/CD workflows with GitLab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least four years of professional software-development experience.
• Hands-on experience building frontend applications with React and TypeScript.
• Using Cesium or CesiumJS for map-based or geospatial application features.
• Working with FastAPI and Flask in support of frontend-to-backend integration.
• Experience working with GitLab-based development workflows.
• Developing or deploying software in OpenShift environments.
• Understanding of secure software-development lifecycle practices.
• Writing and maintaining automated tests.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable, and testable code.
• Clear technical documentation and communication skills.
