Job summary

Mindsize is hiring a Frontend Engineer to join a client-embedded team building web applications. You’ll work on production React and Next.js features for an enterprise client, collaborating with stakeholders and delivering from your first sprint.

You’ll contribute to a remote-friendly engineering culture, write tests, review code, and participate in agile ceremonies while maintaining high uptime and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional experience building web applications with React and TypeScript.
• Experience with the Next.js App Router and server/client components.
• Strong HTML/CSS fundamentals including CSS Modules and Tailwind.
• Experience managing React state and fetching API data.
• Unit tests with Vitest or Jest and React Testing Library.
• Git with branch/PR/review workflow.
• Authorized to work in the US and based in the US.
• Strong written and verbal communication for remote client work.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain user-facing features in React and Next.js from designs and criteria.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Integrate frontend with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Fix bugs and investigate QA/storeholder issues.
• Participate in agile ceremonies: standups, planning, retrospectives.
• Communicate progress, flag blockers, and document your work.
• Contribute to production code with real users and uptime expectations.
