Qualifications

• A foundation in React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, with experience building interfaces and the ability to reason about how they are built.
• Care for visual craft and accessible interfaces.
• Hands-on fluency with AI coding tools, providing useful context and evaluating generated output.
• Ownership and a willingness to learn, following work through, communicating when you need help, and seeking feedback.
• Curiosity about reusable systems and the tradeoffs involved in serving different product needs with shared solutions.
• An interest in solving problems alongside designers and engineers, contributing ideas, and understanding product needs.
• Experience with design systems, prototyping, or developer tooling is a plus, though it is not required.

Responsibilities

• Build shared components and patterns using React and TypeScript to turn recurring product needs into flexible solutions.
• Partner with designers and product engineers to connect design intent with working software, evolving components and tokens across Figma and code.
• Improve the quality of experiences by considering accessibility and thoughtful interactions, and ensure reliable behavior in implementation and testing.
• Make the design system easier to use by improving examples, documentation, and workflows so teams can build confidently.
• Use AI tools to explore approaches and move ideas into working code, applying judgment and testing results in context.
