Job Description

An employer is seeking a Frontend Developer to join a leading healthcare organization. This developer will play a key role in developing backend microservices to modernize one of their largest retail applications. Responsibilities include:

1. Develop and maintain advanced web applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
2. Build and integrate APIs (both GraphQL and REST) for scalable service communication
3. Deploy and manage services on Google Cloud Platform (GKE)
4. Collaborate on CI/CD processes, ensuring seamless integration and deployment
5. Guide the adoption of tools like JxBrowser or similar for hybrid web applications

Compensation is $50-55/hour, with exact pay depending on skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, vision insurance, HSA, FSA, DCFSA accounts, and 401K with employer matching. Paid sick leave and other paid time off are also provided as per law.

Skills And Requirements

1. 5+ years of frontend development experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
2. 5+ years of experience in frontend best practices in large-scale environments
3. 4+ years building and integrating APIs
4. 2+ years cloud experience, preferably GCP or AWS
5. 2+ years designing and implementing testing frameworks/strategies (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
6. 2+ years working with CI/CD pipelines and workflows
7. Strong knowledge of frontend security concepts (e.g., XSS prevention, secure cookies, CORS)
8. Experience with JxBrowser or similar tools for hybrid web applications
9. Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design
10. Understanding of microservice best practices and distributed systems
