Derivative Path is seeking a Front Office Product Owner with strong product management and SDLC/AI-DLC experience to join our team. This role sits within our Front Office group, focusing on pre-trade workflows, Dodd-Frank compliance, and identifying hedging opportunities while managing product backlog.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in product management, capital markets knowledge (IR, FX, commodities), and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience owning a product from concept to delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Admin, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Strong SDLC/AI-DLC knowledge and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong capital markets and OTC derivatives understanding: IR, FX, commodities.
• Experience with Jira backlog management.
• Highly organized, autonomous, and collaborative communicator.
• Ability to multi-task and document detailed requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own a product from conception through delivery and manage the backlog.
• Articulate initiatives, epics, and user stories with detailed requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Manage product backlog in Jira; run grooming sessions with development for at least 3 sprints of ready backlog.
• Collaborate with other teams to align dependent workstreams and ensure on-time execution.
• Communicate priorities and user impact to stakeholders; iterate with Development.
• Maintain documentation of requirements, acceptance criteria, and progress reports.
• Drive initiatives independently and present new functionality to the organization.
