Job summary

TEKsystems in Raleigh, NC is seeking a talented Front End Software Engineer for a contract role. You will build and enhance a web-based UI that helps network engineers design, visualize, and manage complex virtual network topologies.

Collaborate with backend engineers, network architects, and UX designers to translate networking concepts into fast, accessible interfaces. Experience with React, TypeScript, and modern front-end workflows is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of front-end software development experience.
• Strong JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 proficiency.
• Experience with React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• TypeScript in enterprise-scale apps; RESTful API integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interactive topology canvas for virtual networks.
• Implement drag-and-drop, node management, and real-time updates.
• Build scalable frontend applications with modern JS frameworks.
• Create reusable components and UI libraries for networking workflows.
• Integrate REST APIs and real-time data into the UI; ensure UI/back-end sync.
