Job summary

YipitData is seeking a Product Security Engineer to embed security into our SaaS products. You will partner with Engineering and Product teams across the development lifecycle to model threats, review designs, and drive secure implementations.

You should be proficient in identifying vulnerabilities, prioritizing fixes, and building security tooling within CI/CD pipelines. This is a remote-friendly role within the United States with East Coast‑aligned hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in product security or application security within software development.
• Ability to threat model, review architecture, and assess applications beyond checklists.
• Experience securing AI-enabled products and multi-tenant apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform threat modeling and security design reviews early in product lifecycles.
• Analyze architecture, APIs, auth flows, data paths, and cloud services for risks.
• Identify vulnerabilities, prioritize fixes, and guide remediation with engineers.
• Develop and improve security tooling across the SDLC (SAST/DAST, secret scans).
