Qualifications

• 1 year of biological monitoring, surveying, reporting, or natural resource permitting experience in Southern California.
• Ability to travel for field surveys and monitoring.
• Familiarity with GPS and GIS data collection and mapping.
• Knowledge of flora and fauna of Southern California.
• Proficient in communicating with clients, engineers, regulators, and academics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field work including surveys and monitoring; prepare parts of or full reporting.
• Assist with technical reports on biological resources and jurisdictional delineation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and methodologies.
• Travel within Southern California for field work.
• Support cross-selling of services to clients.
