Job summary

Jewish Federation Los Angeles seeks a Program Manager, NuRoots Community to reinvent what it means to be Jewish for young adults in Los Angeles. You will report to the VP of Young Adults and drive engagement across micro-communities, creating meaningful, local Jewish experiences.

Expect energetic collaboration, high organization, and a passion for community building. The role involves no fixed schedule, some evenings and weekends, and travel within the LA area as needed.

Qualifications

• BA degree preferred and 2-3 years of relevant outreach/community organizing experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with donor databases or related systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic engagement plans and organize young adult activities within NuRoots initiatives.
• Engage volunteers and plan both intimate and large-scale Jewish experiences for young adults.
• Maintain and grow micro-communities and track participation using CRM tools.
• Collaborate with community leaders and partners to connect NuRoots activities to the broader Jewish LA community.
