Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Manheim Mobile Vehicle Condition Inspector to perform on-site inspections for dealer clients across the United States. The role documents vehicle condition to Manheim standards, supporting inventory flow and marketplace transparency.

You may work remotely within a designated region, while residing in the proper city/state. A valid driver’s license and basic automotive knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimal automotive knowledge preferred.
• 0–1 years automotive-related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required.
• Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic vehicle inspections with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Safely move and handle vehicles on dealer lots and document condition in systems.
• Build trust with dealer clients and educate on Manheim Marketplace and inspection services.
• Prepare and submit daily activity and production reports using approved tools.
• Follow safety, compliance and inspection standards throughout all tasks.
