United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Data Engineer to help build foundational AI infrastructure and data systems that solve real-world business problems. You will work with researchers and engineers to develop end-to-end data pipelines and contribute to product strategy.

The role emphasizes scalable data processing, transforming unstructured data into performant datasets, and close collaboration with analytics teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production-grade data processing systems.
• Strong command of Python and SQL.
• Experience with distributed data processing frameworks (Apache Beam, Spark, Flink).
• Ability to transform unstructured data into performant datasets in relational databases/blob storage.
• Familiarity with analytics tools (BigQuery, Airflow, dbt).
• Knowledge of Java or Golang (nice to have).
• Experience with Kubernetes (nice to have).
• Genuine excitement about AI and willingness to work at the edge of knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Work on new customer experiences built on advanced AI systems.
• Collaborate daily with researchers and engineers at the top of the field.
• Run end-to-end data solutions and shepherd initiatives to real outcomes.
• Partner with research, marketing, sales, and finance to influence product direction.
