Job summary

Zekai is seeking a French Bilingual Expert for a 100% remote contract. You will listen to French audio clips, evaluate nativeness and fluency, and provide high-quality feedback to help train AI language models.

Native-level French and at least B2 English are required, with experience in audio analysis or linguistics preferred. This role welcomes applicants worldwide, working asynchronously to ensure timely, accurate language evaluations.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in French, with clear enunciation and natural fluency.
• Minimum B2 level proficiency in English, especially for written and verbal communication.
• Background in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music/audio engineering, or related fields is prefered.
• Experience with audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment is highly valued.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to articulate nuanced language differences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
• Familiarity with media, communications, or teaching is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Listen to audio clips in French and evaluate the nativeness and fluency of the speaker or model output.
• Assess pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity according to established guidelines.
• Document your assessments with clear, concise written feedback in English, noting key linguistic factors.
• Provide detailed justifications for each evaluation to ensure clarity and consistency in results.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify requirements or address ambiguities in language content.
• Contribute insights to help improve AI model performance in French language understanding and generation.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned audio review tasks, maintaining high standards of quality.
