The Big Ten Network is seeking a Freelance Digital Designer to join its West Coast team, working remotely with preference for Los Angeles. You will produce and deliver digital graphics focused on live social coverage of Big Ten athletic events, reporting to the Director, Creative Services.

This freelance role runs September through May, up to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of experience producing digital graphic content.
• Production/editing experience with intercollegiate athletics programs or professional sports teams.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated ability to meet strategic deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational skills and being detail oriented.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and other graphics production tools.
• Deep knowledge of Big Ten Athletics and familiarity with BTN programming, talent, and brand initiatives.
• Affinity for pop culture and emerging trends on YouTube and video-first platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to West-Coast live event coverage by updating templates and assets to produce graphics for BTN’s social channels.
• Provide flexible design support for collaboration with the Digital department’s live posting team.
• Create custom high-impact thumbnail art for BTN’s YouTube channels to boost engagement and CTR.
• Design thumbnails for features and series with potential to ramp up production.
• Help produce marketing artwork for B1G+ with templated assets supporting the CRM team.
