Freelance Item Development Professionals will collaborate with the Assessment Development team to create assessment content, review course materials, and identify key learning outcomes to measure learner knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

• Exceptional English writing and editing skills.
• Ability to author, review, and edit AI assessment content.
• Experience analyzing course materials and aligning assessments to learning objectives.
• Item writing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete AI course material prior to commencing work – 16 hours.
• Complete item writing training packages prior to commencing work.
• Author test items for AI assessments.
• Review and edit items according to guidelines and feedback.
• Review forms and participate in Standard Setting activities.
• Attend online training sessions and item review workshops.
• Follow test specifications and item writing best practices.
• Adhere to test security protocol and safeguarding confidentiality.
• Meet content deadlines and managing assignment workload.
• Communicate effectively with the Assessment Development team.
• Work from a secure and private work location.
