Job summary

micro1 is seeking a Remote FreeCAD Expert focused on BIM and IFC workflows to support an AI training project. You will build and refine 3D CAD and BIM models in FreeCAD, ensuring IFC compatibility, and you will document your step-by-step workflows for AI system understanding.

Ideal candidates have strong FreeCAD experience, BIM/IFC proficiency, and the ability to clearly articulate processes while recording their screen. This is a contractor role offering competitive hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• FreeCAD experience required for BIM/IFC workflows.
• Strong BIM modeling and IFC file format knowledge.
• Ability to create, edit, and validate IFC-compatible models.
• Ability to record screen while completing tasks and explain workflows clearly.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D CAD and BIM models using FreeCAD.
• Work with architectural elements, building structures, and IFC files.
• Develop and validate BIM models using FreeCAD's BIM tools.
• Troubleshoot modeling issues and improve IFC compatibility.
• Complete advanced FreeCAD BIM tasks and explain workflows step by step.
• Create clear instructions and detailed prompts for BIM and IFC workflows.
