Peraton is seeking an entry-level Fraud Investigator Associate for the SafeGuard Services (SGS) team. You will support data analysis, investigations, and medical review to detect fraud, waste, and abuse in Medicare/Medicaid programs and collaborate with state and federal investigators.

Under supervision, you will develop cases, prepare reports, and respond to data requests while maintaining confidentiality and complying with health privacy laws.

Competenze

• 0 years' experience with BS/BA, 4 years' experience with a HS diploma/equivalent
• Investigative and analytical experience
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Strong PC knowledge and skills
• US citizenship required

• Perform research and document information for investigations and audits
• Organize case files and thoroughly document steps taken
• Prepare correspondence, reports and referral summaries with accuracy and tact
• Educate providers, provider associations, law enforcement, and other stakeholders on safeguards
• Communicate effectively within the team and with external partners
• Interpret laws and regulations applicable to programs and investigations
• Handle confidential material in accordance with privacy regulations
• Record work activity and ensure timely reporting
• Work under direct supervision as part of a team to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Attend meetings, training, and may require overnight travel as needed
