Acquisition Network LLC is seeking a Startup Partnerships Advisor with fractional CFO experience to build relationships with founders and startup finance professionals in San Diego. You will identify companies considering capital events and coordinate introductions to our team, while preserving client confidentiality.

The role is remote for an independent contractor, focusing on relationship development and qualified introductions in the San Diego area; compensation and scope will be confirmed

Qualifications

• Experience as a fractional CFO or startup finance leader.
• Knowledge of cash planning, financial models, fundraising prep, reporting, and investor diligence.
• Existing relationships with founders or startup service providers in San Diego.

Responsabilités

• Develop relationships with founders, fractional CFOs, finance consultants, and startup operators in San Diego.
• Identify companies considering a capital raise, acquisition, or other material financing event.
• Discuss each founder's goals, timing, readiness, and constraints at a high level.
• Determine whether an introductory conversation with our team would be relevant.
• Make introductions only after receiving the founder's permission.
• Record useful context, relationship activity, and agreed follow-up accurately.
• Share general market patterns that can help us improve founder support and partner outreach.
