Job summary

DanceOne is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting across a fast-moving, decentralized live events organization with 20+ brands and 500+ events annually. You will own Planful models, drive cash forecasts, and partner with the CFO to deliver clear, decision-ready narratives while scaling finance across East and West Coast teams.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years FP&A experience including a senior leadership role.
• Experience in live-event businesses generating $50M–$200M in annual revenue.
• Direct experience leading annual budgeting processes.
• Proven ability to build financial structure in highly decentralized, multi-entity organizations.
• East Coast based with ability to collaborate with West Coast teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CFO on financial strategy, process, analysis, and decision support across the business.
• Own the annual budget end-to-end, consolidating inputs and presenting the plan to leadership.
• Run cash forecasting and liquidity analyses to guide decisions.
• Own the Planful environment and drive its use across the organization.
• Prepare board decks and quarterly reporting packages with clear narratives.
• Maintain the cap table and support equity analyses.
• Collaborate with leaders across entities to ensure consistency and visibility into numbers.
• Translate finance for non-finance audiences among creative and production staff.
