Job summary

Lyft is hiring for a FP&A/BI Engineer to generate and tailor reports, maintain BI tools and data integrations, and enhance Anaplan models. You will translate business needs into functional data components, develop automations, and create dashboards for business users.

The role requires 3+ years in BI/ERP cloud environments, Anaplan experience, and Python scripting. Fully remote in the U.S., with a strong focus on FP&A use cases like budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in engineering or related occupation.
• At least 3 years with business intelligence and process flows for Oracle ERP Cloud or Oracle Fusion Cloud (finance, SCM, BICC, OTBI).
• At least 3 years with Anaplan or similar enterprise performance management for modeling, planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Experience translating unstructured business problems into defined requirements.
• Experience transforming data and automating processes using Python or a similar scripting language.

Responsibilities

• Generate and customize reports summarizing business and financial data.
• Maintain and update BI tools, databases, dashboards, and data integrations.
• Build, maintain, and enhance Anaplan models based on design specs.
• Translate business requirements into functional model components and develop data integrations between Anaplan and source systems.
• Design FP&A use cases including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting; develop automation routines and data integrations.
• Create BI tools and dashboards for business users.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy; provide end-user support.
