Job summary

Lyft is seeking a data-driven FP&A Engineer to generate and customize reports, maintain BI tools, and enhance Anaplan models in a remote US role. You will translate business requirements into functional models, develop data integrations, and design FP&A use cases including budgeting and forecasting.

Required are a BS degree in CS/Engineering or related field, 3 years of experience in BI/FP&A, and strong Python scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in engineering or related occupation.
• Experience with business intelligence and process flows to design custom solutions with Oracle ERP Cloud or Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, including finance, SCM, BICC, and OTBI reporting.
• Experience with Anaplan or similar enterprise performance management for modeling, planning and reporting.
• Experience translating unstructured business problems into defined requirements.
• Experience transforming data and automating processes using Python or a similar scripting language.

Responsibilities

• Generate and customize reports summarizing business and financial data.
• Maintain and update business intelligence tools, dashboards, systems to capture, analyze, and estimate customer requirements.
• Build, maintain, and enhance Anaplan models based on design specifications and best practices.
• Translate business requirements into functional model components and develop data integrations between Anaplan and source systems.
• Design FP&A use cases including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, and implement automation routines and data integrations.
• Create BI tools and systems, including dashboards and reports for business users.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and provide end-user support.
