Job summary

Guidepoint Financial Services in the United States is seeking the Founding Wealth Advisor to launch and run the RIA, shaping service model, investment approach, technology, onboarding, and team while converting captive tax clients.

This is a player-coach role with hands-on client work and building the firm from the ground up, working with CPAs and tax professionals across Guidepoint to create a true one-firm experience.

Qualifications

• Credentials: Series 65 (or 66/7) and CFP®. CFA/EA a plus.
• 5–10+ years in wealth management or financial advisory.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: build and lead a firm with a growth focus.
• Strong client relationship skills and comfort with technology/AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the RIA. Design workflows, client experience, and go-to-market in partnership with accounting leadership and compliance.
• Drive conversion and growth using warm introductions from the accounting client base and target ~100 clients/year.
• Deliver integrated wealth management and tax-coordinated planning year-round.
• Build and scale the team with SOPs and a strong tech stack.
• Foster tax + wealth integration with CPAs and tax professionals across Guidepoint.
• Provide operational and strategic leadership on investment policy, risk, and technology choices.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Series 65/66/7 requirements and CFP standards.
