Job summary

Akka is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) who excels in technical training and mentorship. This role combines advanced technical capabilities with client-facing communication, guiding customers to build production-ready applications.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in constructing complex logic systems using AI and JVM proficiency. This position emphasizes adaptability and elite communication, all within a remote work environment based in North America.

Qualifications

Deep, hands-on proficiency in constructing complex AI logic systems.
Strong background in building enterprise-grade policy ladders and guardrails.
Native-level English verbal and written fluency necessary for technical presentations.
Proven track record of rapid adaptation to new languages and frameworks.
Experience in technical enablement or mentorship roles is essential.
Experience with distributed architecture and Akka is highly desirable.
Understanding of Java or JVM-based languages required.
Knowledge of application deployment and Kubernetes is important.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging technical workshops and training sessions.
Mentor customer developers through architectural guidance and complex logic.
Quickly grasp unfamiliar architectures and provide collaborative technical direction.
Guide customers in architecting logic systems with multi-agent LLM interactions.
Ensure customer applications are resilient and production-ready.
Advise on environment setup for backend stability and reliability.
Bridge communication between customers and Akka's teams for product influence.
Host interactive sessions for ongoing customer system growth.
