Thimble Alterations is seeking skilled independent contractors in the United States to handle formalwear and tailoring projects. You'll perform fittings, alterations, and finishing on gowns, suits, and event attire, delivering high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Experience with formalwear alterations.
• Strong garment construction knowledge.
• Machine and hand sewing proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Alter suits, tuxedos, dress pants, and jackets (hemming, tapering, shoulders, waist, sleeves).
• Work with women's formalwear including gowns, cocktail dresses, and bridesmaid dresses.
• Conduct fittings, take precise measurements, and communicate timelines clearly.
• Deliver finishing and maintain an organized workspace suitable for fittings.
