Salas O’Brien, Inc. is seeking a Forensic Structural Engineer for a remote role based in the Kansas City, MO area. You’ll investigate structural damages from various causes and provide high-quality documentation of your findings.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and hold a P.E. license in MO or KS. The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $140,000 annually, with additional compensation based on productivity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of forensic engineering experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in MO or KS required.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections for structural damage.
• Develop clear conclusions and produce technical reports.
• Provide timely updates to clients and manage expectations.
• Work independently from a home office.
• Drive issues to resolution with stakeholders.
