Qualifications

• 10+ years measuring time element claims including BI, extra expenses, inventory, and theft
• Bachelor degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage fluctuating claim load

Responsibilities

• Lead forensic evaluation / analysis of time element, employee theft, and inventory claims
• Review large, catastrophic business income losses overseen at Home Office level
• Collaborate with property consultants and underwriting/product teams
• Develop procedures to improve customer service experience
• Assist in business income loss training with internal staff
• Minimize third-party accountant use for time element losses
• Travel as needed to service customers
• Provide team status reports to management
• Participate in projects and process improvements
• Ensure subject matter expertise across commercial lines
