Job summary

Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking a Boarding Paralegal to manage the initial stages of foreclosure cases, including data entry, document review, and file management. You will enter loan data into CaseAware and other systems, process status changes, and handle incoming mail.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in default services, with foreclosure and bankruptcy experience; familiarity with CaseAware, BKFS/Tempo, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 2 years in default services; foreclosure and bankruptcy preferred.
• Proficiency in CaseAware; BKFS/Tempo familiarity highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create and establish new case files and organize all documents.
• Review loan documents for completeness and needed items.
• Input client and case information in CaseAware and other systems.
• Process file status changes and maintain accurate records.
• Categorize and process incoming mail related to foreclosure and bankruptcy.
