Job summary

Aldridge Pite, LLP is seeking a South Carolina Foreclosure Attorney to handle uncontested and contested foreclosure actions, with exposure to bankruptcy and evictions. This is a remote position, with in-person court appearances required across the state.

The ideal candidate holds a JD, SC Bar admission, at least five years’ experience, and a willingness to dedicate 20-25 hours per week as a part-time role.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate required with active SC Bar admission.
• Minimum five years’ experience in foreclosure litigation, contested or uncontested.
• Strong research and writing skills for pleadings and motions.
• Excellent communication with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients at mediations, hearings, trials and other duties as assigned.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, correspondence and motions.
• Analyze and review complaints and judgments and conduct legal research.
• Provide legal analysis and communicate with clients on case matters.
• Deliver excellent customer service and fidelity to firm’s standards.
