Job summary

UnitedHealthcare, a part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Manager of Network Contracting to lead the Florida SMMC LTC provider network, developing HCBS providers and maintaining a broad access network. Remote flexibility within FL may apply; 25–50% regional travel is required.

Responsibilities include directing a team of SR Provider Advocates, managing contracts and credentialing, and ensuring network adequacy and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a network management-related role.
• 5+ years working with Medicaid/Long Term Care contracts, claims, credentialing.
• 3+ years in ancillary/facility/group credentialing and knowledge of credentialing requirements for Florida.
• 3+ years of experience in network adequacy analysis.
• Experience with LTC provider specialties (ALFs, Adult Day Care, Home Health, etc.).
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Medicaid and LTC reimbursement.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access; strong data management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to convey complex info clearly.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in provider network functions in a fast-paced environment.
• Take initiative and use problem-solving for issue resolution.
• Work independently with minimal instruction and direction.
• Be detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multitask to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Medicaid and Long Term Care programs.
• Work with Health Plan contracts to ensure appropriate provider distribution.
• Maintain professional ethics in a structured environment.
• Collaborate with SR Provider Advocates and cross‑segment staff.
• Perform additional duties as required.
