Job summary

A leading construction services provider is looking for an experienced Site Acquisition Specialist to support telecom infrastructure projects in Chicago. The role involves negotiating leases, overseeing zoning and permitting processes, coordinating with various stakeholders, and managing project schedules. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively present ideas during zoning hearings. This position allows for approximately 20% travel and will transition to an in-office role in Florence, Kentucky once established.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of site acquisition experience.
• Experience with lease and survey reviews and zoning/permit approvals for telecom or utility projects.
• Ability to motivate and mentor team members.
• Effective presentation skills for zoning hearings.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate leases with landowners and clients involving site investigations and document preparation.
• Oversee zoning and permitting processes; secure approvals for telecom routes.
• Prepare and monitor site budgets and schedules for project delivery.
• Build strong relationships with landowners and stakeholders.
