Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience building consumer-facing web applications with high-quality, well-tested production code.
• Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, with strong command of modern frontend fundamentals (state management, rendering performance, accessibility).
• Track record shipping and owning complex features end-to-end in production, ideally in financial, trading, or other data-intensive applications.
• Demonstrated experience building real-time or high-throughput UIs and integrating with backend APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Uses generative AI responsibly, with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of core Portfolio experiences including balances, holdings, and PnL across web (React/TypeScript) and native mobile (iOS and Android).
• Build performant, accessible UI that renders real-time financial data at Coinbase scale.
• Partner with backend, design, and product from scoping through production rollout; drive frontend architecture and quality.
• Strengthen the team's engineering bar through rigorous code reviews, mentorship, and well-documented architecture decisions.
