Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Core Reliability, to scale reliability and deployment safety across our production environment. You will lead high-impact projects, secure service configurations, and strengthen the deployment infrastructure for thousands of services.

You will partner with critical services to improve scalability, reduce toil, and drive best practices across engineering teams while participating in on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in production services.
• Experience with Ruby and Go in service-oriented architectures.
• Ability to design reliable, low-latency distributed systems at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability projects and features to improve resiliency across services.
• Collaborate with T0/T1 services to understand architecture and scalability.
• Build systems to manage configurations and secrets at scale.
• Improve canary-based releases and deployment capabilities to reduce incidents.
• Drive reliability best practices across engineering teams.
