Job summary

Cambium Learning Group is seeking a Program/Project Scheduler to develop and maintain integrated master schedules for large-scale assessments. You will work with project teams and vendors to track deliverables, dependencies, and progress, while managing risk and change control.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience, strong communication skills, and experience with Smartsheet and Excel. Travel 4-5 times yearly and ability to work in Central Time Zone hours preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• PMP certification highly encouraged.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Proven problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
• Familiarity with project risk management, change control, and baseline scheduling.
• Smartsheet and Excel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated master schedules using project management software with project teams to confirm deliverable status and progress.
• Coordinate milestone activities across internal teams and partner vendors to align with program schedule and contract requirements.
• Identify and mitigate risks to scope and schedule; escalate issues with recommended next steps.
• Manage change control, including requests, logs, and approvals; coordinate scope changes across teams.
• Serve as the point of contact for routine client communications on schedules and deliverables; ensure timely resolutions.
• Plan and facilitate internal and client meetings, including agendas, minutes, and action items.
