Job summary

Black Canyon Consulting (BCC) is seeking a Junior/Mid Full Stack Software Engineer to join Knowledge3 (knowledge3.ai) on a remote-first basis. You will develop frontend and backend components, APIs, and data pipelines, while exposing DevOps practices and deployment tooling.

The role supports an explainable reasoning and trusted AI workflow, with coordination across a distributed team. The position emphasizes building production-ready applications using React/Next.js and Python, with Docker-based

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience or equivalent.
• Strong Python experience.
• Experience with React or Next.js.
• Experience with APIs, including GraphQL or REST.
• Experience with Docker.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and debugging.
• Experience with authentication.
• Automated testing experience.
• Willingness to work across the stack.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web interfaces using React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Implement, debug, and improve backend services in Python, including GraphQL APIs and supporting REST endpoints.
• Integrate with storage and data sources including local files, SQLite, and S3-compatible systems.
• Implement application-level security features.
• Write and maintain automated tests and improve reliability.
• Support application deployment and operation across environments.
• Containerize applications using Docker and Docker Compose.
• Configure environments, logging, TLS, and monitoring.
• Collaborate across repositories and services.
