Job summary

Kamiwaza AI seeks a Mission Delivery Engineer to lead end-to-end federal deployments from pre-sales PoVs to production handoffs. You will run discovery with DoD/IC customers, design production-ready paths, and implement secure, repeatable deployments on Kamiwaza platforms.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in customer-facing technical roles supporting US federal customers.
• Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end engagements: discovery, validation, PoV, production implementation and handoff.
• Strong software engineering skills with ability to build and harden applications rapidly (Python preferred).
• Experience with APIs/SDKs and modern web/app frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with DoD/IC and federal customers: define mission workflows, data sources, constraints, stakeholders, and success criteria.
• Translate discovery into a use case definition, solution outline, and measurable PoV plan with data requirements.
• Define a PoV-to-production path upfront: architecture, integration points, security considerations, and go-live requirements.
• Design and deliver tailored demos, whiteboard sessions, and hands-on workshops for executive and practitioner audiences.
• Build rapid prototypes and custom apps on the Kamiwaza platform using customer data within tight timelines.
• Consolidate PoVs into production deployments with hardening, testing, and alignment to customer engineering standards.
• Establish deployment automation and environment parity (dev/test/prod) with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Ensure security, compliance, and sustenance readiness: least privilege, auditability, and RMF/ATO-ready patterns.
• Deliver hand-off packages to customers or partners with runbooks, IaC, and code repositories.
• Capture field feedback to influence roadmap and packaging for federal deployments.
