Job summary

Modern Family Law, a rapidly expanding national law firm, is seeking a hybrid Family Law Associate Attorney for our San Antonio office. This role emphasizes direct client contact, early development of substantive litigation skills, and collaboration within a team.

The position offers a remote-first setting with in-person court appearances as required, a low 100 monthly billable hour target, and competitive compensation with comprehensive benefits, including health, retirement, and disability

Qualifications

• Active admission to the Texas State Bar.
• 0-3 years of Family Law experience preferred.
• Experience in Family Law preferred; open to litigation candidates interested in practicing Family Law.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a client‑focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Be adept at handling a variety of family law cases, such as divorce, custody, and child and spousal support.
• Be comfortable with direct client communications, drafting legal documents, and handling depositions, court appearances, and mediations.
• Thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment while managing multiple responsibilities with attention to detail.
• Work collaboratively within a team‑oriented setting, ensuring collective success.
