Job summary

BrandSafway Solutions/ISI is seeking Fireproofers for the Austin, Texas area on a long-term project (6 months to 2 years). Roles are remote with planned monthly in-person meetings and limited travel. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, ensuring correct thicknesses, and maintaining equipment and materials.

Must be legally eligible to work in the United States and collaborate well within a team. Experience in fireproofing or related life-safety trades is preferred, with strong attention

Qualifications

• Experience in fireproofing, or related life-safety/specialty trades.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work long hours/ Heavy Lifting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work as a team in construction environment; professional communication and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural, structural drawings to verify what is fireproofed and required thicknesses.
• Maintain equipment and verify materials are mixed correctly and applied correctly.
• Knowledge of Graco 340E and HY-Flex machines.
• Must be legal to work in the United States and pass E-Verify.
• Must work well with others as a team.
• Collaborating with project managers and leadership teams during the projects.
• Maintain BrandSafway’s reputation for precision, reliability, and integrity.
