Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer to develop fire sprinkler layouts, perform hydraulic calculations, and produce design documents. This fully remote role allows candidates to be based anywhere in the United States.

You will analyze project plans, identify design requirements, and lead adoption of cutting-edge software tools while collaborating with project teams and selecting appropriate equipment for installation.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Engineering design experience & certification preferred
• Fire Sprinkler design experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops fire system designs, including fire sprinkler layout, pipe routing, hanger placement, hydraulic calculations, and other fire system design related tasks.
• Performs the production of supporting documents, files, and services for fire system designs.
• Assists in the selection of appropriate equipment and methods for incorporation into system design.
• Analyzes building plans, project specifications, building type to identify design requirements.
• Performs the hydraulic analysis and or technical calculations needed to complete design.
