Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to support the Compliance Operations & Advisory function. The role provides second-line oversight, translates regulatory requirements into practical guidance, and produces governance-ready reporting.

You will assist with advisory requests, reviews, and actions, and contribute to risk assessment, policy development, and stakeholder reporting across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance advisory to business partners on consumer finance and payments requirements; document guidance and follow-ups.
• Manage advisory requests, reviews, and actions using defined workflows and evidence standards.
• Perform second-line oversight reviews of complaint handling for high-risk channels and trends.
• Maintain issue/action logs and validate remediation plans and evidence.
• Review initiatives for compliance impacts and approvals/escalations.
• Conduct pre-use reviews of marketing and customer communications; document disclosures and risks.
• Assist with product development compliance assessments and track launch conditions.
• Support third-party compliance activities and vendor due diligence.
