The Theta team is seeking a Finance Analyst to build and review high-quality financial models from scratch and translate messy data into robust analytical structures. You will collaborate across domains to produce defensible financial logic and detailed schedules, with a proactive, independent mindset and strong English communication.

Nice to have experience with AI tools or automation, and the role is 100% remote with 40 hours per week, aligned to Pacific Time business hours.

Competenze

3+ years of relevant finance experience in areas like investment banking, corporate finance, or credit.
Proven track record of building real financial models from scratch.
Advanced Excel modeling skills and strong understanding of core finance concepts.

Mansioni

Build financial models from scratch across a wide range of complex finance use cases.
Review, refine, and improve models created by others.
Create realistic scenarios, assumptions, and supporting source materials.
Build schedules for revenue, costs, working capital, capex, debt, covenants, and valuation.
Turn messy data into clear, structured, defensible financial logic.
Identify weak assumptions and defend modeling choices.
