Binance is seeking a senior data engineer to build and own the core data foundation for stock and financial market data. You will handle discovery, ingestion, validation, and real-time processing across global markets, enabling reliable data for trading products and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data development, big data, or data platforms.
• Proficient in SQL and Flink with large-scale real-time data processing experience.
• Proficient in Java, Scala, or Python; familiar with distributed storage/analytics technologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data discovery, ingestion, integration, and governance for financial market datasets, bringing source data to production-ready pipelines.
• Design scalable data models and integration frameworks across multi-market data.
• Build batch-stream pipelines centered on Flink to optimize latency, throughput, and cost for trading-related data.
• Establish data quality, SLAs, monitoring, and automated reconciliation and backfill capabilities.
• Evaluate data sources (vendors, exchanges, APIs) for coverage and stability with cross-team collaboration.
• Define data semantics and contracts with trading product and AI teams to ensure consistent stock data usage.
