Job summary

AML RightSource is seeking an entry-level Financial Crimes Investigator who will review transactions, identify suspicious activity, and support Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance. The role includes company-provided training and a remote work arrangement, with core hours during the training period and standard hours thereafter.

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree, possess strong communication skills, and an analytical mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to learn quickly.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with other Office tools.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, filtering, sorting) and strong research skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor transactional activity to identify potential suspicious activity.
• Verify client identities and assess relationships for KYC purposes.
• Interpret and implement client operating policies related to financial data.
• Identify data anomalies and red flags for money laundering, terrorism financing, fraud, sanctions violations, and escalate as needed.
• Write clear, concise reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Use basic Excel and office tools for analysis.
• Meet deadlines and maintain quality standards in a team setting.
