Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to evaluate AI-built analyses and verify the accounting behind them in real corporate scenarios. You will judge the defensibility of models and craft explanations to guide improvements.

Remote, flexible project-based work in the United States, with compensation ranging per task complexity and specialization, and the potential for substantial annual earnings for high performers.

• Trace the reasoning to expose plugged numbers, broken drivers, and conclusions the model's own math doesn't support.
• Write the defensible analysis when the model falls short: honest assumptions, clear drivers, and a number you'd put in front of a CFO.

Job description

Models can build a three-statement model that looks clean and still get the mechanics wrong: a balance sheet that doesn't balance, working capital that flows the wrong way, a circular reference silently zeroed out. Someone has to trace the numbers back through the logic, and that someone is you.

As a Finance Expert you'll evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, check the valuation assumptions and the accounting behind them, and write the judgments that teach models what defensible finance work looks like.
