Job summary

The Harris County District Attorney's Office is seeking a Financial Analyst to manage and coordinate the financial and case-tracking operations of its Asset Forfeiture Division. Reporting directly to the Division Chief, this position oversees the administrative processing of asset forfeiture cases from the initial referral by law enforcement through the final distribution of forfeited funds.

• Previous experience in finance or related administrative operations is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist law enforcement with preparation and submission of forfeiture requests.
• Review seizure documentation, monitor filing deadlines, and maintain case/financial records.
• Manage the Division’s case-tracking database and distribution of forfeited funds per court judgments.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and prepare financial/operational reports; assist with audits.
• Support organization/production of auctions of forfeited property and related check requests.
