The role demands deep accounting expertise, precise numerical reasoning, and strong English writing. It is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract with potential for ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on accounting/finance experience in a professional setting.
• Ability to work through multi-step reconciliation tasks with precision.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition, matching rules, and standard accounting workflows (IFRS/HGB).
• Ability to define verifiable correctness criteria with exact figures and documented variances.
• Comfort with financial documents, spreadsheets, and accounting systems.
• Strong written English for task authoring and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Author realistic accounting reconciliation tasks (payments to invoices, billing vs revenue).
• Write scoring rubrics with exact numerical outcomes and justification steps.
• Set up task environments with financial data and system states.
• Validate task prompts and rubrics by solving tasks to ensure correctness.
• Calibrate task difficulty by adjusting data complexity and ambiguity.
• Review AI-drafted prompts or rubrics for accuracy.
