Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is seeking a Finance Manager to deliver business, financial analysis and modeling in the US Program Division. The role supports K-12 Teaching and Learning and Postsecondary Learning teams, building financial models, evaluating grants, and advising on budget decisions.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in financial planning, strong Excel skills, and a track record of partnering with program staff to drive resource allocation and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of financial planning experience.
• Experience in the technology, and educational technology and/or technology product development sector preferred.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and grant structuring skills.
• Knowledge of risk management and organizational due diligence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Provide financial analysis and business advice to program teams and drive analyses with FP&A colleagues and program staff.
• Lead ad hoc analyses to support budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation.
• Support annual budgeting and mid-to-long-range forecasts with cross-functional teams.
• Perform due diligence of key grantees/partners and mitigate financial risks.
• Develop dynamic financial planning tools for decision-making and reporting.
• Support grant making and contract spending and monitor performance.
