Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive hotel accounting experience or 4-year degree with 4+ years in related role, or 2-year degree with 6+ years experience.
• Proficient in financial and accounting procedures.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Chief Business Officer to the GM and executive team to evaluate financial impact of decisions.
• Ensure timely notification to management of financial deviations or control weaknesses.
• Manage cash flow and prepare cash-flow statements, receivables, cash balances, and deposits.
• Monitor hotel revenues/expenses and ensure accurate recording per guidelines; analyze variances and propose improvements.
• Oversee capital planning, ROI on improvements, and bid processes with management buy-in.
• Ensure regulatory licenses, permits, leases, contracts and taxes are properly executed.
• Coordinate forecasts and budgets with EC Team and department managers.
• Balance sheet accounts and bank reconciliations to be reconciled timely.
• Establish and audit internal controls: purchasing, cash handling, payroll, inventories, assets.
